Portland take I-84 East to The Dalles. Take US 197 South to Maupin.
Dead Dog Preserve is located on Bakeoven Road just 12 minutes outside
of Maupin, halfway between Maupin and Shaniko on Bakeoven Road.
(Approximate travel time 2 hours) From Bend/Redmond take US 197 North take a slight right onto US 97. Turn Left onto Bakeoven Road. (Approximate travel time 1 hour 30 minutes) |
